Enough Gallagher talk talk …put the art on canvas . talking art is like describing colors.

balarat84, talking art IS art, I could describe colours easily, I can mix them proficiently, put them to canvas. But….. art if from within and when we translate spirit to canvas, to stone, to metal….. our techniques we learn start to become ART.

you are helping me. I am a n ex pro artist but I have given up. I wanted to break away from what I had done -and like you do- paint from my heart, but I cannot begin. Listening to you is waking something up in me though. I that you for that.

Thank you. I have painted some satisfactory work, but am facing an obstacle because my next goal seems to be so far that I am discouraged of going on painting.
I listened to this with my eyes closed and was almost hypnotized. My goals are still far ahead, but I now have confidence to keep at it.

There is a lot of transference between what you say about art, and musical composition. I feel like much of it is applicable to my art (music). You should check out my roommate’s painting. He’s a fledgling artist but I’d say he’s pretty good. Search “2astronauts”. Good video.

OMG…ive been hand painting signs, paintings and murals every day for over 30 years in my business and if i wore the same shirt everyday for those 30 years i would have nowhere near half as much paint on my shirt than what you have on your shirt in this video….hahahaha

I want to live a long life, so gave up oils as I too get very messy and coated in the stuff. This guy is quite amazing and I love his taste.
