If you are a disc jockey, then the DJ equipment will be crucial. Well seriously, even if you are just starting or wishing to get the whole of hardware replaced, you must have an idea of the basic pieces of DJ equipment that helps you to do your best in time of need.
The event might be anything, ranging from a marriage, to a birthday party, to someone’s garden party. No matter what it is, not only do you need the best apparatus you need equipment for each occasion as well as equipment that works very well for YOU.
First of all, you need to decide what kind of DJ you want to be. Are your plans to be a stationary DJ? Setting up a radio station on your own. Would you rather be a bard instead, better known as a mobile DJ?
What kind of DJ kit you will purchase definitely has an effect , as there’s some that can be set up permanently and some can be picked up and moved at will. If you are more of the second, then you need to ensure that you get cartable DJ equipment as well as a carry case for your hardware.
The turntable is the DJ’s first and vital gear. Turntable was used in olden times to play vinyl records. But as the time passed, the meaning of the turntable has been changed. Nowadays olden technologies are gone so we have switched to the new technology like CD’s, DVD’s, flash media and thing like these.
You must even question yourself if you are going to use CD’s or not. You may want to try using a laptop computer with a DJ program. Make sure that Winamp is not going to be your DJ program.
If you will perform any events in anyplace, then ensure that you possess a decent microphone. People are going to require to hear what you are pronouncing, so you need to make sure of 2 things before you purchase a microphone.
First off you want to make sure that your words are clear and sharp so everyone can understand you and you don’t sound like the dispatcher at a drive thru restaurant . The second thing that you are going to need to check is that the microphone doesn’t have too much feedback. A screeching sound would be heard by the people if it happens and nothing else would be audible to them.
You’ll need to remember you’ll be working in the dark a lot of the time, so you’ll need to have work lights. Some kinds of lights are available that will illuminate your board, but will not interfere with the event outside.
There isn’t any doubt that you’ll need to buy lots of other pieces of equipment, but you always want to make sure that the DJ equipment you buy works for you, and is top quality. Make your choice carefully, everyone is unique!
For the best in DJ equipment, nothing may exceed the accurate engineering of the Numark NS7 DJ Turntable Controller. With this equipment, your performing will be improved to a complete new level. Portable, strong, and unbounded, you can now get a Mammoth discount on the Numark NS7. Just click the link.

There are few hobbies or skills out there that combine the feeling of the white collar knowledge with the blue collar skills in the way that bookbinding does. Not only does this hobby or trade allow you to work with books (sometimes very old books if you’re repairing), but bookbinding also forces you to become skilled with your hands in order to work the stitching or binding as needed.
There are many ways to get started with bookbinding. One of the best ways can be to go to garage sales or auctions where old damaged books are sold. Make sure none of them are valuable antiques. Then practice repairing the bindings.
Another way of getting into bookbinding is to ignore practicing repair work and to start a new project from scratch after buying the materials you would need. Many people will self publish and then hand bind their own books, like a family history. Another common example of bookbinding includes spiral or plastic coil bookbinding, which will help to put together reports and other similar publications.
The history of bookbinding starts all the way back in Egypt. Coptic bookbinding was practiced by the early Coptic Christians in Egypt as far back as before AD 200. The original method isn’t used often, but a modern form of this is still called Coptic bookbinding today and involves the sewing together of groups of pages into one large book.
After Coptic bookbinding came long stitch bookbinding. This method of binding books is actually quite popular and although it isn’t one of the most common methods used today, it still sees plenty of use. Long stitch bookbinding involves using a slotted cover, which helps to bind the pages more tightly together without having to use nearly as much glue.
One of the most common methods of bookbinding that is popular today is the one mentioned earlier, which is spiral bookbinding. This is sometimes also referred to as plastic coil bookbinding and is what you get when you often see office reports or manifestos. Many local cookbooks also appear in this form.
These are just a few of the styles and methods that are available when it comes to bookbinding. Do a little research, find a good how to book or a mentor, and dive in! You might find that this is the hobby you’ve been looking for all along.

If your trying to learn how to draw cars this article is for you! I know a lot of people who get frustrated when they spend a lot of time and effort drawing cars and end up with disappointing results. Or maybe you want to know how to draw cars, but have no idea where to start, either way these tips will improve your car drawings straight away!
1. Contrast and Tones
What can often turn one of my lousy car sketches into a car drawing that looks like it’s about to drive off my page is the proper use of tone and contrast. This is a difficult technique to perfect and requires a bit of practice and a good eye.
One nifty little trick for practicing on how to get the right tone and contrast is to take a color image from a car magazine, and then go to town with it by ONLY reproducing the image in black and white. If you can master the shading in black and white, you have succeeded… the next thing to do is simply take it to the next level and start using color. Just remember, don’t progress to color images until you master black and white.
2. Adding Interesting Perspective
This is really easy to accomplish because all you need to do is firstly draw your side view, then creating a vanishing point, which is also known as your “perspective point”. Now simply connect your major corners off the car in light pencil to create guide lines that will help you add that beautiful 3D look and an awesome perspective to your flat and boring image. It will take time to master, but it is easier than the tones and contrast work mentioned above.
3. Have You Added Shadows?
If you haven’t noticed, all objects create a shadow… if you don’t believe me, step outside and take a look, even in your room you will see that there are shadows projected from every object, somewhere, somehow. If you want to make your image look as realistic as possible, you will need to choose a light source and direction before adding shadow detail. The most basic and important shadow is the drop shadow on the ground that is produced under every car… so grab a pencil and start shading to create depth for your image, and ultimately, the “X” factor!
If you want to avoid your drawings looking sloppy and unrealistic and you want to discover how to draw a car the way the pros do, have a look at this step by step guide on how to draw a car on paper. It will help you heaps!

Songwriting Tips
Mar 6
As a new songwriter, you can discover some quick methods and ideas that you can use to enhance your ability as a songwriter. You can write many types of songs, and if you want to direct your emotions and feelings through your music this can happen. Songwriters compose because they have a special melody and the words that need to be expressed.
As a musician and songwriter, you can compose songs to express your emotional upsets and triumphs as well as your problems. Many people have the same experiences and feelings so that they will identify with it and love your songs. Some songwriters prefer to think of the money angle and decide to write what they think people want to hear and get a commercial hit that makes a lot of money.
Many popular songs that are composed have met special requirements to be accepted. Although special songs composed for popular audiences have to adhere to more exact guidelines than songs composed for amusement, there can be so many choices of types of singers and types of musical styles. Each singer has his or her individual style that is suitable for a certain type of musical genre.
You can compose your own distinctive type of music that you like and that you think people will enjoy. Most good composers write music that is exclusively theirs and not a reflection of the latest fad or most popular song getting airtime. An original and imaginative way is to write music that is truly intuitive and expressive because many people can identify with music that is uniquely special.
To begin with, compose for your intended group of fans. If you have just one fan or many fans, compose music that you feel you are good at writing and that will draw in your listeners. When you write about what makes you emotional or touches your soul, you will connect with your audience in a more uniquely special way.
If you write music filled with tender words and melodies, you will have a better chance of communicating with your audience of listeners. Write music that you can relate to emotionally and express or convey your thoughts and ideas in words that communicate to your listeners. Your creative ideas can be inspired by your life experiences or come from your friends’ ideas and thoughts.
You can get some motivation for melodies many different ways. Carry a piece of staff paper of music with you when you are out somewhere as you may get some musical ideas to write down. Melodies for your pieces may just pop into your head automatically, you may hear a fragment of a melody that you want to add to, or you may hear something on the radio that will give you an idea or two.
Get a good singer you respect and like to perform your song to give you an idea what it should really sound like. You can get an idea how a singer understands your song and if that’s the way you want it to sound. When a good singer sings your piece, you can find out if you need to alter the melody or harmony to communicate your musical ideas.
